The Visual Aspect
Whilst beauty is in the eye of the beholder, companies have some degree of knowledge of what appeals to a general market. The Reebok Nano 5.0 tends to stick to a mesh like design and comes in a variety of colors and patterns.
The Nike Metcon 1 shoes seem to have that 'it' factor that the former just doesn't have. From more striking and bold colors and a seemingly more streamlined design, the Metcon 1 demands attention and a closer inspection.

The Metcons are cushioned so as to give you a firm and flat feel in the heel, perfect for running and weightlifting. These shoes tend to be very wide than compared to the Nano's but both offer similar levels of stability.
Grip
As CrossFit demands a lot from you, your shoes need to keep up the pace and work well on many surfaces and textures. The Reebok Nano 5.0 possess a sticky rubber outsole which enables sure footing and comfort on many a surface. The Nano's are especially useful for rope climbing.
The flywire technology present in the Metcon 1's also assists in the grip of the shoes. Each lace loop is attached to the sole of the shoe to give maximum strength. The system provides a quality grip when fully laced up and this is easily one of the best on the market.
